Where it all started…with scrapbooking!!!

I have always been a pack rat – saving tickets, receipts, memorabilia…pretty much everything – and I have always thought about making one of those “scrapbooks” I heard people mention. It wasn’t until Anthony and I went on our first trip together to Toronto to meet his family that I was finally spurred into action. I made my very first scrapbook of our trip and was very quickly majorly (and I mean MAJORLY) addicted!!! These are a few pages from my first attempt.
It took me AGES to make the lettering for the Niagara Falls (and I had to do it TWICE!). I can’t WAIT to get my Big Shot and the alphabet die cut so that I never have to go through that again 🙂

Niagara Falls 12x12

Sorry about the poor quality of this picture.  I wanted to include it because it was the first page I made that included stamps!  At the time all I had was an old alphabet set that my parents got my sisters and I secondhand when we were little. I was quite pleased when I thought of drawing a road to go with it 🙂

We spent a day at Canada’s Wonderland and I kept the amusement park map and used it as the background for a 2 page spread.  I also punched out little footprints to show where we went and cut out red arrows to show the good rides 🙂
