The Dominican!

The second trip that Anthony and I went on together was last winter break to the Dominican Republic.  It was the first time I tried the whole “all-inclusive resort” thing.  It is what I would call “vacationing” rather than “travelling”.  No complaints though!  It just depends on what you are looking for.  In this case, we were both looking for some time to relax, some warmth (ah warmth, that would be sooo nice right about now) and time together between two insane semesters at SFU.  This page shows some of the people we saw on the day we went on a safari adventure.  We went through a village (as shown on the scrapbook page) and several different typical crops (coffee, cacao, banana, and a few others).
I used a retired designer series paper and some really nice textured cardstock (Rose Red) and a stamp from the retired Just Like You set in Pink Passion.  I had a lot of fun making this page and it was great capturing some of the interesting, funny, and cute moments that we experienced.
