Stocking Tradition Continues!

An aunt of mine, when we were really little, made wonderful stockings for my sisters and I.  Our family has obviously expanded since then and my sister has made stockings for her husband and two kids as well as my mom (whose name is very long – 11 letters in fact!).

Our project this year, along with the little purse I recently posted, was to make stockings for my husband and my other sister’s husband.  Here are the stockings in their early stages.  My Stampin’ Up! paper snips really came in handy!!!  My sister couldn’t believe how much easier it was to cut out the letters than when she had done the others!

Here is my sister Melissa and my husband Anthony working on his stocking.  I never thought I would see the day when he would sew!  He did a pretty good job sewing on some of the beads to his letter <T> before getting frustrated…err tired 😛
