A Sketch of my own!

Last week while I was waiting for a meeting I had my notebook with me.  I had just looked at the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge for the week and felt like brainstorming/doodling.  I figured why not make up a sketch and then use that to make a card!?!  I found that it made it a lot easier for me to make a card having thought it out before sitting down to craft.

Here’s what I came up with – in two slightly different versions.  I hope you like them 🙂

A close up from the side so that you can see the tearing, sponging, background stamping and pop up a little better.  I used two stamp sets for these cards:  Artistic Etchings and Vintage Vogue.

  1. Hi Mitra, you had asked about the background on my blog, it is a stamping around wheel from Stamping up, which I rolled twice and used markers to color it to get the different colors. Thanks for checking out my blog.
Your card is very pretty, I like the sketch that you created.
